Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow: Julius Story Mode Hack is a modification of the original Game Boy Advance game. In this alternate narrative, the protagonist Julius explores Dracula's castle to recover his memories rather than Soma. The gameplay features revised dialogue, adjusted item statistics, and various modifications to enemies and equipment. The game emphasizes Julius's unique abilities and interactions with familiar characters while excluding leveling mechanics.

This is a "what if" scenario for Aria of Sorrow.
It follows the same plot line as the original game, but Soma is not present. J comes to the Shrine attempting to regain his memories and has to explore the castle to regain his abilities. The entire story has been rewritten to focus on J (Julius) and his interactions with the original cast. He has his subweapons from the original, as well as others that have been added. There have been additions to equipment and items as well. Certain items and enemies have been edited within the castle to give the game a fresh feel. Be sure the read the READ ME file. Enjoy!
Julius Mode 1.5 Patch
Updates to the 1.5 patch include:
- Default Names have been changed from Soma, as well as Soma name and
portrait removed from the Pause menu.
- Dialogue tweaked a bit.
- No level gain.
- Hammer and Shop removal.
- Pick up Items include Whips, Armor, Accessories and Consumables.
- Item stats rebalanced to compensate for not leveling up.

Bosses not spawning such as Headhunter, Death and Legion, as
well as Graham's Second Form having no hands or laser cloud/Julius
Boss not using Subweapons, is tied to using Non Julius Mode Souls.
So, unless you have Axe, Cross, Holy Water or Grand Cross equipped,
those things are still likely to happen. If Julius Items are used,
nothing glitches.
BUT JUST TO BE SAFE, SAVE AND RESET BEFORE A BOSS BATTLE EITHER WAY.

Lastly, Julius Mode only uses the Cross Subweapon due to changes
I had to make to the main game. Treat it like Maxim Mode. (Why would
you even want to play Julius mode when the story was about him to
begin with??)
