Pokémon Emerald Version: DarkRaichus' Minor Em is a fan-made modification of the original Pokémon Emerald for Game Boy Advance. This hack introduces minor quality-of-life enhancements including new prizes at the Battle Points Exchange Center, daily battles with Steven, and rematches against Gym Leaders. Additionally, it features fixes to RNG mechanics and item duplication, enhancing the overall gameplay experience.
This hack modifies:
Base ROM: Pokémon Emerald Version (U)
Vanilla Emerald with minor quality-of-life edits.
Features:
- New prizes are available at the Battle Points Exchange Center
- Event Tickets are handed out upon obtaining access to Mystery Gift from the PokéMart vendor.
- Steven can be battled daily and will play the Champion Battle theme
- Move Tutors will teach daily
- Gym Leader rematches will now be 1-on-1 battles (except for Tate & Liza)
- Lingering radiation from Altering Cave will affect the players' Deoxys, along with its stats and level-up moves. Compatible with all games.
Fixes:
- Using MWisBest's RNG fix ('rolling' for shiny Pokémon and stats will not be predictable)
- No longer possible to duplicate Pokémon/items at the Battle Tower
- Oldale Clerk will not move into the tree if the player did not have space for the Potion item the first time around
- Questionnaire will not be available before receiving the Pokédex
