Final Fantasy I & II: Dawn of Souls for Game Boy Advance features a modification allowing the Angel Ring, which offers 10 percent HP regeneration per turn and is equippable by Mages and Wizards, to be obtained. Originally inaccessible in the game due to programming limitations, this patch introduces a 10 percent drop chance from Holy Dragons, enhancing gameplay for completionists without altering other game elements.
There's an annoying bug in Final Fantasy 1 on GBA where one of the better pieces of equipment will never be possible to get legit. The Angel Ring can only be found on one floor in the 10th treasure chest. Unfortunately that floor cannot have a layout that supports 10 chests. So in vanilla FF1 this item is impossible to get without Game Genie.
The Angel Ring is not just any piece of equipment either. It can be equipped by any mage or wizard and will restore 10% of their max HP at the end of a turn. It's stats are nothing to sneeze at either with some of the best absorb or evade possible on that armor slot.
So this patch enables you to get the Angel Ring as a 10% chance drop from Holy Dragons. No easy task, but at least it's possible and you can get more than one if you want to. Good for completionists.
This patch changes nothing else, so it will work with other patches.

Angel Ring As Drop
Final Fantasy 1 Dawn of Souls adds a lot of equipment. Some of it good. Some of it not so much. One of
the pieces of armor that DoS adds is the amazing Angel Ring which gives any Mage or Wizard that equips
it 10% Max HP regen at the end of each turn in combat.
Sadly while programming the Soul of Chaos dungeons the programmers made it so that it is impossible to
obtain the Angel Ring due to the chest that would hold the ring never happen.
So this patch makes the Angel Ring drop from Holy Dragons at a 10% chance. It doesn't change the rings'
stats or anything else, just makes it possible to get the ring.
