Lode Runner Blue is a modified version of the classic Lode Runner for the Nintendo Entertainment System, featuring 41 redesigned levels and 9 adjusted original levels. The goal remains to collect all the gold pieces and escape the mine while navigating increasingly challenging environments. This installment introduces up to six enemies per level, demanding advanced player skills to successfully complete the game.
Using the Lode Funner tool made by Disch, 41 of the 50 original levels were completely remade, while the other 9 have been tweaked to be harder than before. Lode Runner Blue itself is a challenging game that requires the player to have advanced skills so they can beat the entire game!
Lode Runner is a simple game; the goal is to grab all pieces of gold and escape the mine. To do this, the player is equipped with a ray gun that digs holes on bricks. Digging such holes is essential for the game to be beaten. There’s at least one enemy in each level, which the player must either avoid, trap in holes or use as a tool to reach all of the gold!
The original game itself isn’t really that easy, and Lode Runner Blue takes it to another level by featuring up to six enemies on each level (instead of the regular three), plus complex and difficult brick arrangements, especially on the final levels.

This hack is way harder than the original Lode Runner, and only slightly easier than Championship Lode Runner, except for the 3 final levels, which are extremely difficult to complete. I assure you, all of the levels can be beaten! This hack expands the game in order to add up to SIX enemies, instead of the regular three from the original game! Think you can beat it? If you don't know what this game is about, your goal is to grab all the pieces of gold and escape from the mine. All of the levels have at least one enemy hich you have to avoid, either by running away or by digging holes on the bricks to trap them and kill them or walk over their heads. Most of the levels need this features to be beaten, digging holes to reach the gold and walking over enemies heads. If an enemy grabs a pile of gold, you can take it from them by trapping them in holes or waiting for them to drop it. If you kill an enemy without them dropping the gold, then the gold counts as if you already grabbed it! Of course, enemies will respawn every time you kill them, and this feature is sometimes necessary in some of the levels of this hack.
I strongly recommend playing the original game or the "Lode Runner Rebuilt" hack first to get the hang of this game, if it's your first time playing it, because it really isn't easy and it can get frustrating.
