Atlantis no Nazo: Mario’s Treasure Hunt is a fan-made hack of the original Atlantis no Nazo for the Nintendo Entertainment System featuring Mario. Players control Mario as he searches the island for his missing brother Luigi and treasures. The game is known for its challenging gameplay, where a single hit results in death. The graphics are modified to align with the Mario aesthetic, while some enemy designs remain unchanged.
This is just a graphics hack to give Atlantis No Nazo a Mario feel. Watch out, this game is really difficult to begin with. One hit and you die, the object of the game is to make it to the last level (didn’t see that one coming, lol) but you can get lost in this game. You’ll find that the gameplay is really tight like an 1980’s platformer, just keep your sanity while playing this hack. Don’t take my word for it, try it for yourself…

Story...
Luigi is missing after looking for some treasure on a remote island near the Mushroom Kingdom. Since he has been missing for a few days and Mario goes to the island to find him and look for treasure along the way. (I know the story is lame, sue me :P)
What's been done...
Just your basic graphics hack, no palettes has been changed (cause this was just a side project) I left out a couple of enemies cause they're too small for Mario's enemies to fit and I also left some graphics from the original game untouched, why? Cause I left like it.
I also made a first bootlegged attempt to translate the game into spanish. I just babel fished it cause my spanish speaking ain't the best. (Mind you I'm from a latin culture, lol!)

There's 2 versions of the hack now, one in english and one in spanish. Also Mario's standing sprite has been fixed. Thanks to ImInvisible from Acmlm's Board giving me the heads up so I coulda fix it.
