Nintendo holds the power to permanently sever your access to the Nintendo eShop and online gameplay, particularly if they suspect you’ve used unauthorized accessories or pirated software, which often leads to the dreaded 2124-4508 error code. Procon-SP argues that the abrupt cancellation of subscriptions or services without prior notice infringes upon Brazilian consumer rights.
In response to these allegations, Nintendo has disclosed that it has engaged a local law firm to address the situation, and the outcome is one that many players will be watching closely.
