If you’re among those eager to dive into the Dragon Age series but don’t have access to other gaming systems, a remastered compilation featuring Dragon Age Origins, Dragon Age 2, and Dragon Age Inquisition would certainly hit the spot. However, it seems that dreams of such a collection have not yet materialized. Mark Darrah, a former executive producer at Bioware, revealed that he has proposed this very idea to EA on several occasions, only to be met with refusal each time. This is puzzling considering EA successfully launched a Mass Effect Collection, which brought together the first three beloved titles of that franchise. According to Darrah, EA has a general aversion to remasters, and he further mentions that putting together a Dragon Age remastered set would present more challenges than the Mass Effect one did.
