Nintendo has unveiled the second session of the Nintendo Switch Online: Playtest Program. Following up on the inaugural playtest held in late 2024, this latest iteration offers players another exciting opportunity to be a part of the action.
- Participants must possess a registered Nintendo Account from one of the following countries: Japan, United States, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Canada, Brazil, or Mexico.
- Players must have an active Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership as of July 17, by 03:00 p.m. PDT.
- Applicants need to be at least 18 years old as of July 17, by 03:00 p.m. PDT.
Individuals can apply solo or as part of a team of up to four members. However, all participants must keep the details about the program confidential; only those directly involved can discuss anything related to the playtest. Forming a group doesn’t improve your chances of selection, meaning the entire group either gets in or doesn’t!
For players in Japan, if the number of applicants exceeds expectations, selection will take place via a raffle. For everyone else, it's first-come, first-served. The window for applications opens at 03:00 p.m. PDT on July 18 and closes at 07:59 a.m. PDT on July 21.
