Nintendo has officially announced that it’s halting all repair services for the Nintendo 2DS XL and the entire 3DS family of devices. This decision comes as the company has exhausted its supply of replacement parts for these beloved handheld systems. The update was communicated by their customer service team via the platform X.
“As we have run out of parts needed for repairs, we have discontinued repair services for the New Nintendo 2DS XL as of September 4, 2025. (Repairs for other Nintendo 3DS series systems have also been discontinued.)”
