Square Enix and Acquire are throwing a celebration for the 7th anniversary of Octopath Traveler, and they have unveiled a stunning piece of artwork to mark the occasion. The magnificent illustration, crafted by the game’s designer, Yukihiro Kajimoto, cleverly nods to Bravely Default. This homage is evident not only in the presence of a whimsically confused fairy but also through the distinctive poses of the characters. Both titles offer strategic gameplay that enables players to gain an edge with unique mechanics, such as boost points and brave points.
In addition to the artwork, fans of Octopath Traveler can immerse themselves in the enchanting soundtrack, which is accessible for free via the Square Enix Music channel. To celebrate this milestone, a live music event is scheduled from July 13 at 11 PM EST until July 15 at 8 AM EST, allowing enthusiasts to indulge in their favorite tunes.
