The highly anticipated Metroid Prime 4 was first revealed to the world back in 2017, but fans have since faced a rollercoaster of delays as development was restarted a few years later. The excitement reignited when it was officially reintroduced last year as Metroid Prime 4: Beyond. However, the long wait for new details doesn’t solely stem from the development reboot; there are strong whispers that the game may also be making its way to the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2.
Adding fuel to the fire, renowned content creator and game developer interviewer, Reece “Kiwi Talkz” Reilly, who has significant ties with both former and current Metroid Prime developers, shared insights that have caught the attention of the gaming community. He recently hinted on social media that fans can expect to see Metroid Prime 4: Beyond featured prominently in Nintendo’s Switch 2 Direct on April 2nd, claiming he’s “90% certain” it will be part of the showcase. Check out his intriguing comments below.
