Today, Nintendo has thrilled fans by dropping a brand-new trailer for their very first Splatoon spinoff game, titled Splatoon Raiders. This exciting adventure will be exclusive to the Nintendo Switch 2. In Splatoon Raiders, players will take on the role of a mechanic, diving headfirst into the enchanting and enigmatic Spirhalite Islands, alongside the splat-tastic Deep Cut trio.

But that’s not all! A free update for Splatoon 3 is set to launch on June 12 for both the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. This update introduces the Splatlands collection, featuring a variety of new weapons from the Barazushi and Emberz brands. With a fresh design and different sub and special weapons, players can expect a total of 30 new weapon kits that are sure to spice up the gameplay. Additionally, the beloved Urchin Underpass stage from the original Splatoon on Wii U will make its return to the stage rotation.
Furthermore, players will find that all weapon Freshness caps have been raised, along with the introduction of new in-game Badges. A notable addition is the Series Weapon Power stat for Anarchy Battle (Series), which tracks a player’s performance with each weapon based on their win/loss ratio in battles. This feature will allow players to experiment with new weapons without feeling at a disadvantage, while also pushing the boundaries of their favorites.
Moreover, players on Nintendo Switch 2 will be treated to enhanced visuals and a smoother experience in vibrant locales like Splatsville and the Grand Festival Grounds. The latest trailer has also confirmed that Splatoon 3 players will have the chance to team up across both Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2.
