Square Enix Shocks Fans: No Upgrade Path to Switch 2 for Octopath Traveler 0!

In a recent announcement, Square Enix has delivered some disappointing news for fans eagerly anticipating the original Nintendo Switch edition of their newly unveiled title, Octopath Traveler 0. If you're thinking of upgrading to the Nintendo Switch 2 down the line, be aware that there will be no option to transfer your purchase. Square Enix hasn't specified the reasoning behind this lack of upgrade support, but they are taking a similar stance with the upcoming Dragon Quest 1-2 HD Remake.
