Early reports today hinted at a challenging start for third-party game sales on the Nintendo Switch 2. However, Mat Piscatella, a sales tracker at Circana, has revealed a different reality. He noted that sales of third-party games on the Switch 2 in the United States are actually performing "far better" than during the launch of its predecessor, the original Nintendo Switch back in March 2017. Among the standout titles, the critically acclaimed Cyberpunk 2077 by CD Projekt Red claimed the top spot as the most successful third-party game.
Hate to contribute to a Discourse, but 3rd party share of Switch 2 software in the US is far better than it was during the Switch 1 launch.
