Recent news from VGC has sparked excitement among fans, as it was reported that a high-profile Castlevania project is in the works at Konami. Yet, during their extensive summer showcase today, the much-anticipated title was notably missing from the lineup. Inquisitive fans reached out to the article's author, Andy Robinson, seeking clarity on the game's status. Robinson shared that, as far as he is informed, the new installment of Castlevania is “still coming.” The event revealed other intriguing titles from Konami, including Silent Hill F, Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, and a tantalizing tease for a remake of the classic Silent Hill.
The first of these titles will be a new Castlevania game, which sources described as a “reimagining” of the series currently in development internally at Konami in Japan, with support from local external studios.
