Pokémon Stadium 2: Mord's Moveset Hack is a fan-made modification for the Nintendo 64 version of Pokémon Stadium 2. This hack revises the movesets of all Rental Pokémon, incorporating elements from competitive battling strategies, particularly from Smogon University. Notably, the hack includes legendary Pokémon such as Mewtwo and Celebi in the Prime Cup while maintaining the original Rental Pokémon statistics. It was released in July 2019, with a minor update in August 2019.

The original movesets in Stadium 2 were not the best (to say the least). This hack aims to improve the sets. Heavy inspiration for the new sets came from the site 'Smogon University'.
Tested on Project64 and Everdrive 2.5. Note that there may be the same minor glitches that would be present on an unmodified Stadium 2 ROM.
Use "beat" to patch.

My friends and I enjoy playing versus but didn't like the Rental movesets they had. So this hack was born! Inspiration for most of the movesets came from Smogon University (https://www.smogon.com/dex/gs/pokemon/) but some changes were made and I had to get a little creative for the not fully evolved (NFE) Pokemon. None of the Ubers have Recover and instead have Rest to make it *slightly* more fair. We usually like to play with randomized teams using a team generator. Of course, this can be used for single player as well.
The movesets are mostly the same across the different cups (Prime/ Poke/ Little cups). Although I tried to make sure no illegal moves were used, there may be a few I missed. I also tried to make sure no Pokemon in the same family had the exact same 4 moves. NYPC Event moves were intentionally not used (such as Zap Cannon Blastoise). Illegal moves are highlighted in purple. If you find any, let me know somewhere and I can update the hack.
The Rental Pokemon slots and stats are unchanged, except for Prime Cup with the following changes:
Caterpie, Metapod, Weedle, Kakuna, and Magikarp,
were removed from Prime Cup to make room for:
Mewtwo, Mew, Lugia, Ho-Oh, an Celebi.
