Sengoku Basara is a Hack and Slash video game published by Capcom released on July 21, 2005 for the Sony PlayStation 2. Not to be Confused with the Localized Abomination, Devil Kings, Sengoku Basara is a Hack n’ Slash in the same Style as Dynasty Warriors but using Japanese Warlords and Generals during the Sengoku era. The Plot is pretty simple with Each General/Warlord wanting to Conquer Japan for Their Side/Themselves. The Characters themselves are exaggerated Versions of their normal Historically counter Parts. (Example: Nobunaga basically being Evil Incarnate with Demonic Powers.) Unlike the Localization, The Game Sports 16 Playable Characters with Different abilities and Fighting Styles. All and All if you like Dynasty Warrior Style games then you’ll like this and if you’re desperate to play this in English then you are welcome to play the Mentioned Devil Kings, but Overall Sengoku Basara offers more play value even if you can’t really understand whats going on.
