Surgical Strike is a video game for Sega CD where players assume the role of a member from the specially trained Surgical Strike Team tasked with combating high-tech urban guerillas. The objective is to locate, identify, and eliminate these hidden enemies in an urban environment without causing civilian casualties. Gameplay involves maneuvering a hovercraft, choosing between a 30MM Gatling gun or laser-guided rockets for combat, while receiving guidance from overhead AWACs C-130s. Guided by on-board mapping, players uncover new, unexplored zones and enemy emplacements.
