Dr. Mario is a puzzle video game developed by Nintendo for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. Originally released in Japan, the game features Mario as a doctor who must eliminate viruses by matching colored capsules. A similar version was bundled with Tetris and distributed in the West as Tetris & Dr. Mario. The game was also made available through the Satellaview service.
