* Brightened up most of the color palettes.
* Two of the splash screens (the Ocean and CTA ones) were left unmodified, as they didn't suffer from dark colors.
* Unfortunately, the background gradients were left unmodified due of the way they are coded. However, the escort's lifebar and the background in "Halloweek" had their colors brightened up.
* Updated ROM checksum.

To apply these patches, any program that supports the IPS patch format (like LunarIPS) is required.
Two patches are provided for the two versions of the game:
* "EEK!_USA" works with "Eek! The Cat (USA)"
