Patch with a no header rom of Pac-Man 2 - The New Adventures (USA)

A port of MS. PAC-MAN was included in PAC-MAN 2 - THE NEW ADVENTURES (aka HELLO! PAC-MAN) as a playable game in two level areas. It is different to the vertical scrolling version released by Williams Electronics and resembles the Namco NES version with upgraded graphics.

This IPS patch turns MS. PAC-MAN into its own standalone game for SNES. No password required, arcade areas or items to find. No menus.

Update 13th Feb 2022: A PAL patch is also now included in the download. This is only recommended for use on a PAL SNES. Patching info is included in the PAL version folder.

Update 21st Aug 2022: Bug fix where holding start on the Namco screen skipped to Pac-Man 2 menu. Thanks Svambo :)

A port of MS. PAC-MAN was included in PAC-MAN 2 - THE NEW ADVENTURES
on both Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis/Mega Drive as an unlockable
game. This is accessible in the unmodified game with a password or
by finding an arcade.

This IPS patch turns MS. PAC-MAN into its own standalone game, loading
only the Pac-Man game without any passwords required and returning
back to this at Game Over.

- Loads a modified opening Namco screen
- Loads Ms. Pac-Man game after the Namco logo screen
- Returns to Ms. Pac-Man game title screen after Game Over and the
high score screen.
- Password text removed from high score screen (same as when the game
is played using a password)
- Branching code modified (RAM values) for 'load Ms. Pac-Man' and checks
for cartidges collected.
- Tested on a Super Famicom using a Super Everdrive (works)
- Tested on SNES9X and Mesen-S Emulators (works)
