Samurai Shodown

Samurai Shodown is a fighting game developed for the Super Nintendo, set in early Japan. The narrative centers on Shiro Tokisada Amakusa, a figure who preaches a heretical religion but is secretly controlled by the malevolent Ambrosia. Players select from a roster of 12 warriors, along with three additional characters, to battle for the honor of defeating Amakusa and thwarting Ambrosia's dark ambitions.
