Fracture is a third-person shooter video game developed for Xbox 360 and set in a dystopian future in 2161. Following severe global warming, the United States has fractured into two factions: the Atlantic Alliance and the Republic of Pacifica. Players control Jet Brody, a soldier battling against former Alliance General Sheridan and his forces, utilizing unique terrain-altering mechanics in combat.
